Should I grab this TT?
Guys, I'm staying in Malaysia and currently driving A4 1.8T B5. I'm very keen to get a new Audi TT. One dealer here told me that they have an old stock of Audi TT Quattro 225bhp which manufactured 2 years ago in stock. It is very rare to see an Audi TT on Malaysian roads. The car really get heads turn everywhere it goes.
The question is should I buy this car or not?? Is there any known problem for this particular year of manufactured TT?? I heard that Audi has recalled the TTs long time ago because of seriuos problem with the car. Is this correct?? If it is so, what was the problem?
Pls advise.

If you like the car and it's a good price, buy it...
The car has some common issues that may or may not happen to you but they are well-documented on the forum.
The recall was on very early TTs because there was questionable high-speed stability (at like 135+ mph on Autobahn). I think it was a lift issue. The car you are looking at probably won't have that issue.

I heard there are quite some TTs in Indonesia.
