Sidewall Bulge
Hey All,
My 2001 TTR has about 8K miles on it. This weekend I noticed that my front passenger tire has a bulge in the sidewall. Grrrrrr.
I searched the board for this topic and found a Service Circular that states that AoA will replace tires for this problem, but only up to VIN: 8N_11012829. My VIN is way past this number.
I know that there was a problem with the Potenza's and sidewall bulges, but my car came with Michelin Pilot Sport 225/45 ZR17's.
Has anyone else had this problem with the Pilot Sports? Did your dealer replace it for free?
I just wanted to get some advice from the board before I call my dealer and have them tell me it's going to cost $300.00.
