Default Which VR6?

The VW ones I've seen and measured are the same as the 225. New 3.2 ones are 3" and too large to function correctly on a 225. **** has been tested at 2.92 to be about perfect with a 4 bar. Anything else is a crapshoot. Minor changes in the ID resut in large surface area differences and a slowing of the velocity through the tube...This works with the Load and MAF signals to screw things up if not correct.

Read more here...

Default thanks for the info...

im trying to clarify the IDs for a discussion over on audizine. I sort of knew you'd repond to the initial question because you are the tt forum resident expert especially when it comes to mafs.

a guy on 'zine is still sticking with the 2.875" ID number, saying that what he measured.

this is the discussion in case you are interested

Default There may be different..>>

VR6 MAF ID's depending on the year and Version. The one I looked at was a Euro version...Dunno.. That ID will run a little fat with a 4 bar. Suggest an adjustable FPR for tuning..
