I'm finding Wusthof, Henckels, and similar brands to be overrated. A top chef here in Coral

along with a Wusthof chef's knife that I like a lot, I have several -->>
Dexter-Russell knives that I've bought in restaurant supply stores here and there. They're not terribly expensive, and I really like them. I have seen them on the web a few places too. I have the white handled ones; there are a lot of types to choose from too.

Will do. I'd like to go to a place that sells all of these and see how the various makes fit my hand
& balance, etc. I've used one Global knife - it was VERY light, I think it would just be a matter of getting used to 'em.... Accckkk!!!
Now, I just need to find such a store... :-)

one of the places i've bought from is in Wallingford, CT....
just up the road from the Audi dealer. if you're interested let me know and i'll try to remember directions.
