Default That is exactly what I did with my sister for her wedding gift . . .

there is a place downtown in NYC on Broadway. They carry EVERY line of knives. Went through the entire collection. She ended up deciding on the Wusthoff Trident Classic collection. I have used them on a few occasions and they are very well balanced and hold their edge much better than my Dad's Sabatier knives.

When I need knives I will be getting the Trident's.

If you want, have a look Broadway Panhandler I don't know if you will find much better pricing or selection. Not only for knives but for everything for the kitchen.

What you need is the equivalent of orthotics for kitchen knives. :-)

Default Not at all, just since they make orthotic foot molds to give people custom insoles, they should

do the same for knives. That's all. Lower your hackles, sir. :-P

Default here you go:

I-91, exit 13 to Wallingford / North Haven and US 5

Turn right on US 5 which is S. Colony Rd, go about 1/2 mile

Chef's Supply (or similar name, I can't remember for sure) is on the right. If you come to Audi of Wallingford (small dealership) on the right, you went too far.
