Default Snowbank: 1 TT: 0 - - Some pix and ramble :(

Driving down Avenue Rd. north of Davenport yesterday around 2pm, i'm in the right lane. Just finished class and driving home calmly doing about 65km/h in 3rd, i see lots of snow in the middle of my lane coming up ahead so i look around and start switching to the middle lane seeing as how no one is around. Next thing i know car gets spun real quick sideways as my passenger-side wheel catches the snow in the middle of right lane & i nail the meter-high snowbank full out with my front. After some violent bumping around, the TT stops for me to see that i am now in the middle of this snowbank (half up on curb, half hanging off) facing towards the uncoming traffic. Luckily no one was around me when this happenned, and that i wasn't injured. After i climbed out the passenger side door and picked up come pieces, went around the corner to get a shovel from a very nice old lady to dig myself out, only by some quattro miracle did i get off that curb. I drove straight home, listening for any noise.

Verdict : TT drives, and drives well, front bumper is now listed as severely damaged, radiator doesn't leak but has moved and bent, plastic frame is cracked in two places and front grille is M.I.A. - 3.2 bumper on order.

Note: Yes i am quite known for my aggressive driving style, i don't deny it and have really toned down in the last half a year. But of all times, this gangsta ish happens when i'm completely sober and driving normally. Horrible. Either way, to all fellow TTers - please do exercise safe driving this winter. I wouldn't want any of this to happen to y'all. Cheers

Default so THAT'S where the stock intercoolers are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty greusom looking. I'm glad you're not hurt. I'm also sorry your TT is. Little wrench time, a few hundred bucks and a paint job and it'll be back out there turnin' heads! Best of luck!
