Default So after a full day of house hunting I've come to this conclusion >>>

it's darned expensive to buy a house in Florida! I'm not in the mid-west anymore.

I lived in the mid-west for seven wonderful years and the price for a home in "fly over" country is very cheap (compared)

Tomorrow I continue the journey. I'm running the numbers tonight but looks as if I'm going to be in at least 370k. I've come to terms with that expecially seeing that the house will be kick a$$, in a kick a$$ lake community with almost a promise that equity will have grown in the house before closing, and 2 miles from the infamous world golf complex in St John county (note: i'm not a golfer)! Not to mention that I'll be around 30 mins from the beach!

Here is the plan being considered.

With this plan, I get a seperate 3rd garage to create my own mini modshack(or simply my space to hang out).

Looks really nice Ed. Err, why would you need a place to hang out? Cold beer inside, right?

Got it. BTW, the Brotherman Audi Sales schtick was too funny. Wish I could have been there.
