dealership that sold me my first motorcycle never had the title in their possesion. After owning it for 11 weeks now and starting to ask "where the H*** is my title" I find out they never submitted the paperwork because they still don't have the title from the guy who traded it in. I'm not even sure if I own the damn bike now. I have to admit that i've been pretty furious since 10am when I found this out.
I wish I took pictures of the TT hauling a kawasaki mean streak on the trailer. I got many double takes, one cell phone picture taker, and one thumbs up with a "yeah man" while hauling it. Car did just fine with a 900# load.

the dealer never submitted to paperwork and it took almost 4 months for it to get resolved. Hope your issue gets resolved much faster. Good Luck!

than it will be for the dealer to get their money back from the previous owner.
Don't worry about it. Let the dealer worry about it.

The only cruiser I really did like. Sold a few of them! Dealer is obligated by some very strict MV laws to not screw you around. You need to have a heart to heart with them if you haven't. Often times on a trade the sellers titile is held by the lender and that can take time to get, but it is usually resolved within the 30 days the temp tag runs. Unusual for it to take longer unless the dealer didn't mail the pay-off check. Who's the dealer? Good chance I might know them.

with his insurance...technically he does not own it....Not sure why the dealer would care other than he has broken the law by not adhering to state DMV guidelines..
I would be all over the dealer to complete that paperwork...ASAP....or have my lawyer call him...just my two cents

basically what they did is illegal and I can press charges. I am using that to try to get them to let me return the bike minus some money. But when I stopped by the Sales manager that I spoke to this morning "forgot" to mention this problem to his boss. The boss is looking into it now.
Work with me or I'll press charges will have to be my plan for now.

Those guys were always a little sleazy but not nearly as sleazy as the guys who were there before and I personally got out of the business.. They were pushing the envelope 10 years ago when I worked with them. Alan still there? Jeff the owner still around? Bike looks good BTW!
