I have driven my car on a consistant basis ABOVE 125mph! I have already been at 145mph and could have gone faster, but a pickup was a mile up the road and I decided not to risk my life and his passing him above 150mph!
Once I get my car all sorted out with my brakes I will be going to see what the upper end of the rpm range is with the car in both 4th and 5th.
If anyone is interested in joining me on the Ocean Parkway on Long Island one Sunday morning around 8 or 9am, let me know. That is when the road is totally empty of both cars and cops. I have TalkAbouts to warn each other of approaching cars and people.
Let me know if anyone is the least bit interested. Those that are not familiar with the road. It is two separate two lane roads that are straight as an arrow for 10+ miles. The elevation is sea level as the ocean is about 40 yards to the south. To the north is the Great South Bay, even closer than the ocean. The road surface is 40+ year old concrete that is very smooth. The two rods are separated by brass, shrubs, sand . . .whatever. They are about 15-25 yards apart, depending on the part of the road.
Let me know

This is the road where ScouTT and I raced a Viper at 120mph.
