Default so how long can you run on a spare donut?

i'm going on over a week now. SO MUCH FUN!

(no it isn't)....just haven't had time to figure out what to do about the wheels. working 7am to 10pm isn't good for my wheel hygiene.

Default I wouldn't speculate on something this important >>>

but if you want the standard answer:

Temporary or compact spare tires are designed to allow you to get to the nearest tire dealer or service center for the repair or replacement of your flat tire. Temporary spares aren't designed for long-term use. The temporary spare should be replaced by a regular size spare tire as soon as possible. Follow your vehicle's owner's manual for proper usage of temporary tires.

Default An amazingly long time.

People out here go for months on those, sometimes with 2 or three on their car. You should see their cars, then you would know why I fear driving through town every day.

I also have some friends who used them for burnouts on the back of a chevelle. Cliff Notes: LOTS of Smoke, impressive durability.

Default Not too long.... 35 miles and BOOM!

Ahhh. the good old donut.

My front tire absolutely shredded on the way to the airport, but the donut got me there for my 6:00am flight. That was about 25 miles.

On my return trip, at about 11:00pm, I hit a pot hole and BOOM! ... bent the rim. That was another 10 miles.

You guessed it.... another flat and no spare donut to save me this time. Two flats in one outing to the airport!

Here's the real problem.... Audi doesn't provide a way to replace the donut. They do't sell them and don't have any suggestions on where to buy them.

Anyone out there with a spare spare? I'll buy it.
