well, they told me a visual inspection is always done. in fact, they had my hood up 3 times...flashlights, mirrors, etc.

i figure i was low enough that they wouldn't bother checking...
and it was pouring out, so with it being wet out...i figure they wouldn't bother. but it turned out that they poked their heads in and around the hood alot. too much, in fact.

so all theyre going to do is go 'you failed for ___' and check that one thing
when i failed for tint, i went to a shop that i was going to 'pay' to pass me... he told me he would have initially but not after i failed... i forget the reason, but somehow NJ would have known/hit him with a huge bill
he said it had happened before he got fined
