Default So I ordered my first ever set of aftermarket wheels today for my TT.

Since they are custom order they asked if I wanted to have the lips on the rear wheels larger than the front, as they said it would look better (in their opinion). Should I have gone with the same size lip all around? I have never really seen what it would look like either way. Opinions appreciated. thanks.

I would figure out exactly what you want before you buy anything.

Default Since the car is AWD(FWD most of the time) it doesn't make sense to have wider rear wheels. IMHO.

Plus like gesTTalt said you lose the ability to rotate the wheels.

Default I think same all round looks better and here's why

While I understand those who like that look I think bigger back wheels implies RWD. Even if you have a Q your car is 'mostly' FWD and there is no benefit to bigger rear wheels. I also prefer the visual balance of all the corners being the same size. Add to that the rotation factor mentioned by gesTTalt above you have quite a few reasons to keep the same size all around.

Having said all that, I haven't seen a TT in person that diff sized wheels and I may love it when I see one...
