bI don't know why. Just been buying and eating a lot of crap. Put on a few pounds as a result and have been feeling pretty guilty about it.

Finally, I got rid of most of the junk food in the house (by eating it, of course), and was feeling good that my kitchen was more or less snack free.

However, I made the mistake of going to Costco today and the cutest young Hawaiian girl was offering free samples of this Gelato. "Here sir, try the Cappuccino Gelato, it's really yummy!" "Don't spill any of it on your tie!" "Hey, that's a nice tie, try the Vanilla Bean too!" "Have you ever been to Hawaii?"

So as you might have guessed, I bought the Gelato. In fact, I couldn't buy just one, because the Costco "deal" required me to purchase 4 pints of the poison.

While it is pretty yummy stuff, I am once again feeling quite guilty and it might be another week or so before the scale revisits more familiar territory (sigh). I'd better hurry up and eat all of it so that I won't have it around any more!

It was mighty tasty, and I'm sure I'll get more but not on too regular a basis.

I once had a roomate who would say "Gotta paint a stripe on me to tell whether I'm walking or rolling" after a gut buster meal like that.
