Default So TTExperts...It's "normal" for the right inner CV boot to fling grease?

I did my first TT diaper change last night and when I took off the "skidplate thingy", I found a nice little mess. The right inner CV boot has been leaking (flinging) grease. Freaked me out at first. Then I did a search and discovered it's common and probably nothing to worry about.
It sure seems like there should be a clamp there but the Bentley doesn't show one either. OK to leave it be?

Default No. Either torn, loose, or pinholed. Get it fixed.

It may be common, but it's not right.

Default mine was spitting some grease, same place at 20K miles, like over 2 yrs ago....

It's been fine.
I've had every service tech check it since then.

Default It's leaking through a "Vent" hole which is built in.(by design)...>

I'm assuming that any replacement would have the same hole, and that leakage (or lack thereof)is a function of how much excess grease was installed initially.

She's due for her 2 yr checkup in January. I'll just keep an eye on it till then.
