Yeah, C Style would be easy, but there has to be reason why Forge did the 225 style otherwise.

Default The ONLY reason Forge did the 225 conversion was NO development of a different core

much easier to just purchase a new manifold for them and pass the cost on to you. You guys forget that there are TONS of FMIC's available for the 1.8T for VW's which will most likely simply bolt on to the TT with a minimum of modifications to simply locate correct mounting points.

Default well, I didn't! >

but you's right - there's a huge amount of development out there on the 180/1.8T; my bias was what worked here & given my level of knowlege at the time - but I *had* found a lot of options, just no install history. Lately I'm looking at them again though - mostly to educate myself on turbo and programming options.

Default I'll add my vote for C Style...

I'll be in the market come April/May.

Although Forge is literally right down the street from me (so support would be easy) I never liked the idea of having the extra expense & hassle of the 225 manifold.

I'll most likely go with the APR setup if nothing else is available by then ;-)

Default Yes...

I've been told the black pipe there is OEM. I never knew that, need to check. I'm considering this way because:
A) I could use the same core.
B) I could use the same mounting brackets.
C) It visually looks better from the outside.
D) Since that's a hard pipe, there shouldn't be a pressure drop issue.

C wouldn't take any less time... might be longer, actually.

If you use black silicone, they wouldn't look much different from a few feet away.
