Here are the codes from a VAG session I did, my car goes into limp mode (5psi), at half throttle. Usually happens on the highway. Resets itself when I cycle the ignition.
17965 Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation
16490 Manifold/Barometric Pressure Sensor (g71) Implausible Signal
16620 Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (g31) Implausible Signal

That would all seem to be related to overboost situations...I would check the MAP plug down in front of the battery. It's rare for a MAP sensor to fail, but I assume they could....Just haven't seen it. All pressures are referenced against atmospheric and that sensor is in the ECU I believe....That one could be tough..I'd start with the MAP sensor...
