Sorry to ask this about the FADER in the Bose not working but...
I searched on here and read the Bose FAQ, and I have some questions.
1: The Fader does not work. How can I enable it so that I can be the one (not Bose) to determine if I want it more to the back of the car?
2: Why would they do this? It is frustrating to not be able to control it.
3: Seeing as the speakers are 2ohm, could the rears be damaged by moving power to the back?
4: If I change the codes so when the radio is turned on it doesn't say Bose, can you at least use the radios adjustments to put it all back to the middle positions of trebel, base and fader so that it sounds EXACTLY like it would if I left it at the Bose setting?
5: Does it really affect anything in the stereo setup, or just allow me to control Fader?
6: Exactly how do I reprogram it if I wish
7: Can I change it back if I want to?
Thanks all.

Right. You can turn the fader on but it doesn't change anything...
since all sound is sent to what would be the "front" in other cars. I know John S will elaborate with technical detail, as he is really good at it.
