Default Sorry to be a post hog, but another DV relo question.......

One reason I discontinued my mod today, besides everything going wrong, was the fact that I was concerned about the DV recirculation hose from the SFS, the small one coming out the side of the IC hose itself, is going to be real tight with the other hoses there. I have a stock air box still and the breather hose, shown in red, the one on the right, sticks up right in the way. I have noticed that most who have done this have the TTDA and you are able to position this breather hose lower and out of the way. Has anyone done this relo with the SFS hoses with a stock air box? BTW how do I get the breather hose off the air box, white arrow? I have been pushing on the top and bottom clips but can't seem to get it off.

Default As an example, here is MarTT's pic, see how the breather hose is .......

positioned below the breather hose. I don't think I can position this hose that way while it is still connected to the stock air box. Just looking for any suggestions.

Default If memory serves, you squeeze the connector (large parts) and maybe twist a little>>>

You KNOW you should get a TTDA or a VTDA... actually I have both... ;-P
But if you're really really attached to that restrictive thing... my estimate is that you won't hook it back up to the stock air box.
Stick a small filter on it and push it where ever you need to... then Duct tape / plug your Stock box "hole"

Did I say you need a TTDA or a VTDA ??

Default Oh yea, the TTDA is probably next on my list, I guess I could stick......

a filter on that and plug the original hole to get it out of my way, till christmas funds arrive. Already know which TTDA I want, so the research is done.

Default Bob, you can run the DV dump line over the TOP of the intake too - that is how must people used to

run it anyway. Also, putting in the IC hose and plugging it until you get a T/VTDA is certainly a viable option. That way you can play around with locations for the dump line as well.
