Default Spacer choice -> 25mm rear & 20mm front or 20mm rear & 15mm front...

I have 235/35/19 tires on 19x8 Axis Mods with ET 35mm. I have not done a suspension mod yet. Which spacer options should I choose?

Also, about to buy a boost gauge -> APR or AWE?

Default ATTENTION PRO-SPACER people. How would you correctly answer this one?

I'll hold off *my* answer.

Default My answer

would be to not do it. I don't want to mess with the extra bolts or the potential extra loads on other parts. I'm not a pro-spacer person though so I guess I should keep quiet :-)

Default Both options seem a little too big to me...

And, as I've recently learned, different offsets in the front (or, effectively different ones with the use of spacers) tend to make wheel bearings go sooner than they would have.

Default If you are going to use them, it just depends on how far out you want the wheels.

I'm considering 8mm front, 15mm rear. But it all depends on the look you want.

As for wearing bearings...it does shorten their life by some small percentage. But so does taking the car to the track, or hitting a pothole, or any of a number of other things.

Default Ahem...Pro spacer member here...I have 15mm front and 25mm rear.

only when I run my RS4 wheels. Im not sure how that would react with your 235 tires up front though. Maybe stick with 10mm front 20 rear?

Default Ran spacers for over 20k, then running staggered setup now with no apparent

wear on bearings. I've used spacers and staggered setup while doing auto-x and hard driving.

15mm front
25mm rear
19x8.5 ET 35 SSR GT3 with 235/35-19's

I have over 68K on my car now, spacers and staggered setup since 10K.

My current setup 19x8.5 ET 22 front with 245/35-19, 19x9.5 ET 16 with 275/30-19.

Quick Reply: Spacer choice -> 25mm rear & 20mm front or 20mm rear & 15mm front...
