anyone know if the reason you get a 'tire bag' in the TT's is because the full size tire does not fit in the trunk after you change it?

I believe that the tire does fit into the trunk, but NOT into the spare tire-well. So, in order to not "dirt-up" the trunk, they give you a bag to put the tire into........ Atleast that is what the dealer told me.......

if i can remember when i blew a tire, the blown tire fit into the spare tire well
