Default Speaking of wacky gas gauges... this one's new to me..

driving around all day with less than a 1/4 tank. Not really paying attention but I knew it was low. going to lunch I finally scroll over to my DTE(distance to empty) & see I have 25mi to empty. I go to lunch, then go & drop off my friend & start heading to a gas station w/ 15mi left. Gas needle is almost on "E", maybe on the little red line just before "E". So I'm stopped at a light, LOOKING at the gas staion when I notice my needle jump back up to 1/4 tank! A second later my trip comp says 45 mi to empty! I get gas & only put in 11 gallons. Is this a prelude to a new cluster? if it is it will be on my own dime. How muck do them thar clusters cost?

Default Well, mine stays at full all the time. My TT is the most fuel efficient car ever. I drove 300 miles

to Northern California and my trip computer still shows that I can go another 495 miles!
