Default Speed bump question

Living in Southern California, we have speed bumps everywhere. They range from the small, barely noticeable ones to the almost mountainous ones. Does the TT have any problem bottoming out over speed bumps or dips in the pavement when going from the road into a driveway?

I live in an area with lots of speed bumps, and mostly the car is Ok. However, there are several where the car bottoms out - especially if it is a high hump but not very wide - the car tends to "straddle" the hump and grind at both ends ! After the first time it bottomed out, I checked the car and everything seems fine - no damage

I think as long as you go VERY SLOW over high bumps you should (hopefully) be OK...

We have a lot of speed bumps as well, and the 225 takes them at speeds somewhat beyond posted limit without scraping or bottoming out. Applying a little throttle over the bump usually helps towards keeping the car level, avoiding that violent bucking movement.

Go Slow, 17" tires will be damaged, I know. (2 new tires later) Bottoming out is no problem, tire damage is.
