I'm a little confused. Will the prior-to-week-18 built 225 Coupes come with a spoiler? I've been told mine (for June/July delivery in NJ) will not come with ESP. Does that mean it doesn't come with a spoiler? What are you guys seeing in the showrooms and on the lots? 2001 225 Coupes with or without spoilers. Thanks all.

Yes, it comes with the spoiler and suspension mods.

I've ordered the car without ESP and it's being built now. I'm still wondering if that means no spoiler. I thought spoiler was a part of the ESP modifications? Any more insights?. . . Any US 225 Coupes out there without spoilers?

The spoiler and suspension mods that relate to the "recall" are standard for ALL 2001 TTs.

ESP is something entirely different and is standard on all post-week 18 TTs...

Some of Audi salemen are unclear - (and not as enthusiastic about the details as you guys are) which is why I asked the question a couple of times to make sure. . . excuse my ignorance - new to all this.

If your order # has an "E" in it , you will have ESP...

The sales people in the US are still a bit unsure. I have a 225TTR on order (Nimbus Gray with the Baseball seats). I have been assigned an order number but not a VIN. Believe my order was the 8N9569 on their books which would mean no ESP. I've asked the sales person to confirm if they are cutting over to ESP for all models, and if not to make sure my order is for an ESP'd car. I'm assuming my request will have little or no impact on my delivery date since I'm not in production as of this week, and have not been assigned a start date. I was told under 4mos last week. Have had my deposit in since August '99.
