The settings are all sorts of screwy.
I didn't realize that the fisheye wanted me so close -- I couldn't get things in focus and keep my reflection out of the shot.
Oh, and thanks! But I dunno if you'd want her if you knew how much of a problem child she is... ;-O

did you use a microfiber cloth? if not, you were probably reintroducing scratches with the applicator. (i notice that the magic mix includes polishing pads, which are probably also made to not cause additional scratches.)

But, as you know, my wheels were pretty gnarly when I got them. The lips weren't clearcoated (which is fine), but the previous owner didn't put forth the effort that's demanded by unprotected aluminum...
The Mother's stuff would probably work fine for me now that I've got them clean, but it took HOURS to get them looking even CLOSE to how they look with the Mother's stuff.
The Magic Mix took me about 10 minutes/wheel, and it works like a polish or wax, so as you use more, they start to look even better.
AFAIK, the stuff is actually for diesel trucks and their gas tanks, but it works damned well on my lips. =D
As for you, though, your wheels always look stunning, so I dunno if I'd be willing to change my routine or try anything new if I were you. ;-)
