Default No, don't use a torx driver!

If I remember correctly, this triple square is the same size as the cylinder-head bolts at least on the older 4/5 cyl motors (haven't had a 1.8T apart yet)

1.8t head uses a poly drive.. forget what size since I just have the factory tool

Default yes it came with the airbag adapter.

But I need to go purchase a MKIV airbag harness so i can use it.
The airbag wiring on the TT does not come off like the VW one.

Default yeah that is different even then the one I worked on last week

The dealer will have it in stock.. Its a very common part to replace on the MK4s.. Make sure you getone for like an 00 or 01 pre steering wheel controls, shouldnt' matter but better to be safe.
