Default From what I understand, you'll need new speakers as well, since

the Bose speakers are very low impedance...

Right?

Yes, Bose is not compatible with the typical 4ohm car amp

Default you actually have 8 speakers if you have the Bose setup.

Need to replace the speakers and get a new amp.

Default A good 5 channel amp, Xtant,Phoenix Gold,Ads,MTX

Depends on what ya wanna spend and how discerning your hearing and tastes are.
A good amp with a low amp draw is advisable for the TT, MTX make a nice 5 channel with the 5th channel being class D digital for running subwoofers with much less amp draw.
Bear in mind that Bose speakers will not last long run from an aftermarket amp...BTDT!
So an upgrade in speakers will be needed and a HU change if you wanna go do it right, alternatley you can keep the OEM HU and use the blaupunkt RCA adapter, this wat you keep the factory look and dash integration.
6.5" component speakers fit in the TT coupe in front door and rear panel locations with no adapters or fitment problems. As for a Sub, 10" provide tight clean bass whilst not taking up too much space in an enclosure, and generally are more effecient, therefore not requiring as much power to be as loud as a 12".

Hope this helps,
Marcus

Will the non-Bose speakers work? I'm looking for more volume with little hiss.

Default the oem speakers are maxed out already

adding a more powerful amp will only blow them. spend the money and get real speakers and a real amp
