Default A lot of drivers here have replaced their H/U, amps and speakers...

If you wanted to keep the system somewhat OEM, a 'Concert II' H/U, with the built-in sinlge CD, upgraded amps and speakers would be a good combo.

If you are enamored by those Asian-colored, dancing H/U displays, and all the push-buttons, any decent one of those, again, with a built-in CD would work also.
Find one that has a, aux. in port, and that plays MP3 CD's, etc.

For more OEM style, some Blaupunts are nice.
be aware that any/most aftermarket H/U's will require that you use some sort of spacer.
The Audi H/U opening is wider in the display area than other standard H/U's
The actual recessed opening is the same width as std. H/U's

Where are you in MN?
Stop by and I will show you my install, and give you some pointers on removing the rear plastic panles behind the seats to get at the components.
