Default Steve (Schwing).. I'm going to install the KMAC camber kit this weekend

What are the torque specs for the control arms?

Did you use the supplied grease or can I/Should I use my own suspension grease?

TIA

Default Hey Chris!.............>>

LOL...The (1) instruction included with the kit specified 53 ft lb. You going to do both top and bottom? I assume you've looked at my install pics. Call me if needed: Cell: (252)258-7502

Default steve (and chris) -- will the kmac be necessary with the mono 10 wheels and the eibach springs?...

what would be the positives and negatives of using the kmac kit (or not)?

thanks!

Default It's not the wheels, it's the camber issue after you lower the car.

At least with Roadsters. My Camber could not be adjusted and it's bad.

I do not wish to have inner tire wear issues (I would like the new 18" $$$$ tires to last as long as possible).

Default I'm going to try just installing them on the top. That might just do the trick.

What about the grease?

(and I suppose I could have opened the kit to read the instructions first : - )

Default the eibach's will lower the car by just over an inch -- will that result in camber issues?...

or is too small of a drop to make a difference?

Default Don't Bogart that Kmac my friend... just do bottoms, (the gesTTalt Maneuver®), share with a friend!

Cut your costs in half, and avoid the nasty upper Haldex bolt!

Default Well, I can only speak for myself. It made a difference (excess Camber) in mine.

Bad Dave needs camber correction too.

When I had my car aligned it would not adjust beyond -2.7 degrees of Camber. I think acceptable is -1.7 degrees.

I'm not sure if this is more of an issue with Roadsters.

Sorry I'm not doing a good job answering your questions.

Default

very useful, chris -- anyone with a coupe want to chime in on lowering and camber issues?

Default Good tip... Thanks!

I thought upper because I want the top of the tire/wheel to move out. If I adjust the lower, I'll be moving the bottom of the tire/wheel in.

I was "thinking" it would look better in the wheel well things were moved out vs. in.

Probably makes no difference.

Thanks for your advise.
