Default Sticky Instrument Cluster?

The instruments on my 2002 Roadster don't turn on with the car. No needles move, no lights come on when the key is turned and the engine started. This morning it took a half mile of driving then things popped right and everything worked. When the car is warm things are ok, but when it's sat overnight it shows this behavior.

Anyone seen this? (A search on "cluster" gets so many hits--over 5000--that it isn't any help.)

Default A sticky tach at startup is supposed to be caused by a battery on the way out...

your situation sounds a bit more severe tho. Still under warranty? If so see if you can get it replaced. Instrument clusters are a known problem for TTs.
