Default Stilljester accessory bar installed...>>>

i am not ready to add a mounting device yet for my cell phone but wanted to install this to explore all my options......this mod looks great...but i tweaked it a bit.

Pulled the passenger seat to ease access...then removed the phone cradle covers....once done, i dremeled out the caps to allow them to fit around the mounting bar...it took a bit of time and patience, but it looks great....

here are a few pix...

Overall...nice little bracket to have, and it is the right price!!! Sorry there is not a lot of detail...this is a feel kinda mod....take your time and it will work out fine!

http://public.fotki.com/TTinCT/tt_modifications-1/interior_mods/stilljesters_access/</a

Default Question: I noticed you took out your passenger seat to do this install...

my question isn't about how to take out the seats, but rather, is it ok to disconnect the seats from the wire harness? I've heard that if you unplug the harness then it screws up the airbag system?

Whenever I do a full detail of my TT I like taking out the seats so that I can get to every nook and cranny... I pull the seats slightly out and leave them connected to the wiring so I don't run the risk of screwing up the airbag stuff.

So can I just unplug these suckers, or is it more involved than that?
