Struggling with 18" or 19" wheels? My TTqR is a summer car and I would like to know your thoughts..?

a well-made 19 will be just as nimble and strong (or more so) than many of the 18's out there.
and 'sides... they're purdy.

and many of these potholes are impossible to avoid.
so, one of my wheels has taken minor damage.

I've had 18's and 19's on my car. 19's definetly handle better than 18's. From what I've researched the German tuning standard for TT's is 19 inch wheels. If you want the look of the car to be perfect get 19's. I have no bend's or curbage on my wheels from potholes and the roads in L.A. suck. You have to learn to drive with them. You have to pick your path and it's not alway's down the center of the lane.

I'm a bit on the fence with the handling issue. They do look awesome, though. How is your car doing, BTW? Are you going to throw a 19mm bar on it?
