(that TTnuge, i think posted)and it sais that we have a four channel amp.
<img src="http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/6627/bosecoupetv4.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" />
I have currently hooked up 2 amps(2 channel MTX and a 4 channel Alpine MPV-450, i believe), 1.5 farad capacitor, 6.5 Component Infity Kappa's for the front, and 6.75(6 3/4) Kicker something(90rms, i think, but w/e) for the rear, whole bunch of RCA's ground and all kinds of wires running thru the other car -- that i would like to transfer to the TT. The "other car" is a VAN btw, please dont ask how a $3.5k system got into a minivan!! =DD I actually also have 2 nice 12" Alpine Subs that need another (3rd!!) amp. The other two will not be enough. I need a nice 600+ RMS amp that will feed them, but thats another topic.
The question is, can i hook up all these to the BOSE system somehow..? Change that factory amp to one of the two that i already have without changing the HU..? I like the HU, and am not planning to change it. At least for now. ;]
If not what is the best way to hook up a Sub with an amp to the BOSE system..? Cause thats what im more likelly interested in. Even though i have all those pretty cool speakers, it just dont look right to me if i would go and throw out the whole BOSE system that i just paid so much for..! I think thats just wrong...nah??
Im still researching but understand very little on what i have to do. I think you have to set an RCA converter behind the radio and run RCA's thru the whole car. Is that right?
Any usefull links that i still didnt find in the Archives would be much appreciated!
TIA

to get line-level outputs from the H/U.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/98442/dsc04293.jpg"></center><p>Hu need to be changed because there's no aux for the subwoofer.
firstly, i installed amps for front speakers and the subwoofer together with an Alpine HU. All together using the stock Bose system. It sounded good... but after using it for couple of months, the bose system just gave up. it can't handle the power of MTX. Well, it's because the volume is always high. Now, my front speakers are also MTX. they sound really nice. I can play Hip-hop or heavy metal at full volume and vocals isn't affected. I'll post a picture but sorry it's a crappy one.

....and the sound is flat as hell. The best thing ofcourse is to get equalizer, new HU(that Panasonic one sittin in the VAN doesnt have an EQ - so it SUX big time...), than you can get a sound processor i think you call it, couple more toys...but thats first of all BIIIG $$$ plus i have to throw out a $2k, $3k or w/e the price is Bose system(!!!) -- a NO-NO if you low on $$$, just like me...
Thanx for the insert though!

...not too sure, but i thought that "Remote Amp Switch" and "to Power Amp" is the same thing. Also, y would i need "Dash lights", "switched +12V". And Finally, where i stick the RCA's at? :-o
What i did on the van is:
1) Running from HU - RCA's, Power Switch cable..and thats it, i think.
2) Running a 12gauge(as far as i remember) cable from AMP to SUBs.
3) Got the ground AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE.
4) Power running from stock battery to 1.5 farad capacitor and then to AMP.
That should be it. Piece of cake. But that diagram again, i dont really get.

remote amp switch is the signal wire sent from the H/U to turn on the power amp.
'To Power Amp' are the line-out signals from the H/U that are the outputs (you call them RCA's) that feed the inputs to the power amp.
The 'COM' signal from the H/U is common ground of the outputs.
If you don't need the 'dash lights' and 'swiched +12V', no problem, don't use them.
they are marked for convienience.
Many people, including me, have used this schematic to wire an amp an speakers to the existing H/U with very positive results.
If you can't figure this out, maybe you need to use a new H/U with all the jacks in place for you.
