Default SuiTTman: Does your allroad have the extra jump seats in the back?

Does the manual say anything about whether car seats or boosters are allowed back there? Trying to talk a friend into buying one and he loves the car, but he really needs a third seat and for carpooling with five and six year olds...only safe with a booster or carseat.

Default The jump seat is optional on A6 Avants 2000+. i think they were standard in 1999.

it fits in the spare wheel well area...usually for kids and faces backwards.

right, the question is, does Audi specify size/age of passenger? I'll call the dealer... Thanks!

Default Mine came with the third seat...it's only big enough for small kids so a booster wouldn't be needed

and a car seat should fit I would think.

Default Been trying to talk my wife into a wagon, but

my kids are 11, 8 and 3 and I think the room in the "way back" is not conducive to kids much bigger than 8. Otherwise you are dangerously close in a rear ender.

Am looking for minivan alternatives!! Am on my third already.
