SuiTTman: Does your allroad have the extra jump seats in the back?

Does the manual say anything about whether car seats or boosters are allowed back there? Trying to talk a friend into buying one and he loves the car, but he really needs a third seat and for carpooling with five and six year olds...only safe with a booster or carseat.

NO jump seat (just the 2 of us) dont know about

car seat ??

The jump seat is optional on A6 Avants 2000+. i think they were standard in 1999.

it fits in the spare wheel well area...usually for kids and faces backwards.

Mine came with the third seat...it's only big enough for small kids so a booster wouldn't be needed

and a car seat should fit I would think.

Been trying to talk my wife into a wagon, but

my kids are 11, 8 and 3 and I think the room in the "way back" is not conducive to kids much bigger than 8. Otherwise you are dangerously close in a rear ender.

Am looking for minivan alternatives!! Am on my third already.
