Default Suspension advice for 2001 TTQR

I'm looking for some advice on upgrading and replacing suspension on a roadster. Only want to lower about 1 inch or so (going too low on Houston roads is not a good idea). I'm thinking about going with KONI FSC + Eibach Pro-Kit System. Anyone using Hotchkis sway bars? (btw Schwing if you see this they have upgraded sway bars for the new "TT").

http://www.hotchkis.net/products.php?categoryId=398&osCsid=72cf408c272 50d15847a4b657396522b</a

I don't know much about the FSDs, but I'm very happy with my Koni coilovers.

Default Eibach = 1 inch...>>

FSD's get good reviews (inTTruder has them).
Hotchkiss was a few months away from finishing up those bars 4 years ago...LOL.. They make a nice product, but no one has them on a car to my knowledge. They're a bit late to the party.

Default Check out my post from a few days ago I am also upgrading my susp have some ideas for you ->

Here is the discussion: https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1668167.phtml

I am going to go with the Koni FSD's but I will be keeping my stock springs. From what I have read and spoken to a few people over the phone it may not be a great idea to lower the car with the Eibach's or any springs for that fact with the FSD shocks. (but if you do do it let me know how it turns out)

Koni says they tested and it will work but I called pureMS and they said the don't recommend it and some have had problems with the car hitting the bump stop.

I am also doing defcon and bushing replacments along with either H&R or Neuspeed rear sway.

Default Schwing you are like a legend around here mind posting a response to me :)

From the things you have heard or people you know, have hey had any issues with fsd and eibach or stocks?

also i know you have neuspeed but how do you feel about the h&r rear sways, I guess on low stiff they are about the same?

Thanks!

Default My experience...>

With the NS was great. Had the 22/19 combo on my car. H&R should be equivalent on the soft setting (recommended). They've got some Lube free bushings, but honestly i never had an issue or squeaking with my NS bushings in 6 years. Don't know about the FSD reports. maybe InTTruder could address that. i ran Bilsteins which I liked a lot (in fact just put them on my new Corvette), and other here run Koni Yellows with great reviews. The FSD's are more a "comfort" shock from what I've read....

Default yes after reading your older posts I was going to follow your exact steps -->

as you seem to do things in a very clean and mechanically sound way.

I just wish the Bilsteins had better bump control from what I have read they might be a little harsh on bumps and the LA freeways are a mess I would like a nice smooth ride. Otherwise I would get the HD's in a second (still might).

NS vs H&R i don't think either way is a big deal ill just get whatever my tech can get easier and cheaper.

Default So at what point do you start havig to worry about camber issues?

I'm a little fuzzy on when you need to start compensating for camber issues. If I went with Eibach Pro-Kit Springs & Bilstein Sport Shocks or something similar to what HellooMcFly is proposing would I need K-Macs, adjustable tie arms or both? It sounds like they are definitely required for coil overs or for when you really slam the car, but what about when the drop is only mild? Thanks in advance for your input!

From what I read you WILL def. have to if you change from stock springs. 1/2 kmac or adjust tie.
