Default Suspension refresh time........

and damn that stuff adds up. Ordered new tie rods (not just the ends), ball joints, strut bush/bearings and front and rear swaybar links through Purems as they carry only OEM supplier made parts.

My strut bushes have been toast for some time now and after tracking at Laguna Seca last weekend - definitely need to be replaced sooner than later. With 77k on the clock - I figured i'd do it all at once.

Getting ready for another track day at Infineon on April 13th......

Default Ordered new strut bushings for mine too

and some poly for the rear control arms. I think that just about finishes my suspension refresh (for now). Nice to see purems carrying OEM equivalent parts. Stuff I've been getting from the other place has been pretty crappy quality.

Default At Laguna Seca this weekend - I was comparing my strut caps to Bruce's who just installed new bushes

mine were sticking up about 3/4 of an inch compared to his at maybe 3/16.

I've got the Forge arms in the rear and probably at some time add the poly's to the stock rear arms. Although all of the next batch of $$$$ is going to my oil cooler/oil filter relocation project.

Default Will be interested in what you come up with for the filter relo

It's manageable in the stock location but would be nice to move it somewhere a bit more accessible. I'm due for the cooler this year too. Surprising how many mods I still have on the list

Default There will be a "kit" available from the supplier i'm using when I'm done ....

will be a mix of mocal and canton mecca parts. Oil cooler will be located in same location as Schwing and others and filter right behind it. Thermo plate will be located on remote filter housing. Might even try to do a group buy type thing for better pricing. Will be using the screw on canton mecca housing with the filter inserts. Looking at options for oil temp and pressure senders IN the remote housing.
