Default Symptom: Sounds like loose change when going over bumps...

When going over bumps, with the top down, I can almost always hear what sounds like loose change clinking about from the suspension. Of course the dealer never hears it.

What could it be?

Make sure the top bolt is torqued to the correct spec. otherwise it will start to rattle

Default Yea, I had that (or similar)...

Went to the dealer 4 times for the same sound. Went around the dealers neighborhood looking for potholes or bumps that would cause the car make that sound because they could never hear it when I left the car with them. Finally found a school's driveway that I could reproduce the sound consistently so I took the tech for a ride and he stood in the rain as I went up and down the driveway. I was told it had something to do with the brakes and the only notation on the service record was "brake modification - N/C". Now I'm getting the same sound on the passenger's side, not happy. Did a few searches for "jingling" and saw that it happens mostly on A4's and one post said there was a TSB for the A4's on it but I could not find it. Something having to do with a retainer clip and the caliper.

Had the same problem with my 2003 roadster. Finally found a road where I could reproduce it and took the tech for a ride. He concluded it was control arm bushings. Hasn't recurred since.
