Default Tech assistance ?....LarryTT or Mance or Denny...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/4128/caliper_retainer_bolts.t.jpg"></center><p>as you can see in the pic the bolts hilited, I need the torque setting for the brake caliper retainer bolts and should I use 'lock tite' when reinstalling bolts. Appreciate help....

Default Here you go . . .

I have included 2 pictures to make sure I am seeing the correct bolt. The answer is 25 Nm for Bolt #7. Is that the one?

Default It is bolt 10 although the diagram only shows one when there is actually two...

looking at pic and you see bolt 10 but has a corresponding bolt directly below (look at where dashed line goes from bolt 10 makes 90 deg turn down and go about an inch and there is another opening just behind dash line for the other bolt. Anyway...same size and same purpose so if you have torque spec for 10 then the other is the same.

Ribbed combi - bolt, 125 Nm

It does NOT mention anything about lubrication or Lok-Tite.

Default Bolt 10 (ribbed combi bolt) says 125 Nm. Here's the text. No loctite.

7 - Guide pins, 25 Nm

Removing and installing Page 46-5

8 - Protective cap

Take off

9 - Brake hose with banjo union and banjo bolt, 35 Nm

10 - Ribbed combi - bolt, 125 Nm

Clean ribs

11 - Wheel bearing housing

12 - Hexagon socket head bolt, 8 Nm

13 - ABS speed sensor

Before inserting sensor, clean fitting hole inner surface and coat with lubricating paste G 000 650

14 - Splash plate

15 - Hexagon bolt, 10 Nm

Default I figure he grabbed the URL for the thumbnail image on picture poster...

...instead of grabbing the full-size image URL. Just a guess.
