Default Once the DV has totally blown, to the point where it is hurting the engine, yes . . .

If it is beginning to go, then it most likely will NOT appear in a VAG Diag.

Default Just bitch and moan . . .

explain to the dealer that the car is way don on power. You talked to your "friend" that has the SAME model as you and his has much less turbo lag. Tell them that your friend had his dealer replace HIS DV ad it made ALL of the difference in the world!

Explain to the dealer that VW and Audi have admitted tha the DV is defective. Tell them that is why Audi & VW are up to the letter N in version releases! Once they realize you do know something they should give in! Tell them that your car either has a G or an H valve adn those are BOTh known to be defective. Tell them that the N is supposed to be the fix, even though between you and me . . . IT'S NOT! lol

Explain to them that you don't want a piece of the diaphram tearing off and blowing your turbo!

All of the above should scare them enough into relacing it. If that does not do it, then call AoA and make a HUGE stink!
