Default Test drove a TT225 today......

I am already an Audi owner (02 A4 Avant - wifes car) and today was my first test drive of a new TT 225. I am in the market for a new car and this one was high on my list. The body is beautiful and the interior is very nice with the exception of no armrest. My complaints which have unfortunately turned me off completely are that it seriously felt like I was driving a Honda accord with regards to the tranny. No real feel with the clutch or the shifter. (no very sports car like) Aswell, the engine sounded like my wifes car....quiet with no attitude. I was hoping for a little more in this department. Too bad because I like the looks. On to a Boxster with some sweet sounds.

Default Sorry... I must disagree with you...

I do not own a TT, I am an A4 B5 driver... But I have driven a TT not like most would but more of an agressive autoX drive and I can easily say that a stock TT will out perform many of the other cars out there with pure handling. Don't count out a car just because you dont feel comfortable driving a straight line and saying that it sucks.

Default Take a look at Nissan 350Z

You may also want to take a look at the new Nissan 350Z (about 25% less expensive than the TT, and about 20% more power).

If you do test it, please report here how it compares with the TT.

Default You must be on drugs - Go get the Boxster and my TT will eat you alive.

I hope you are not a big guy because the Boxster will make you very uncomfortable.

No, it doesn't suck...I just though for almost CAD60,000 this "sports" car would have a bit more feeling to it.......I have a 93 MR2 and when I got back into it I was more happy.....the engine note makes me smile everytime !

Default You want noise get an exhaust and intake...

mine growls, she sounds so beautiful in the morning with the humidity high and the temps low. The deep sound of the APR exhaust I have is absolutely FUC**** awesome! Plus I run with a Neuspeed intake, and the car comes to life. My girlfriend even says how she thinks the car sounds alive...

If you don't want to modify get a Boxster S, I have one, and I really do like the car. It does not inspire me like the TT though. Good luck!
