Default Actually, I'd love to hear about Lambo failures...

If parts on a $40K car "shouldn't" fail, I'd love to know what the failure pattern is on a $150K car...

Default No car is "issue free", certainly none this new. Buy a Camry or wait a year.

But certainly don't go surfing over to any other car site cuase you will find the same thing on more "expensive" cars. The Boxster has a load of problems up to and including fires in the engine. Oops.. that would suck.

I am sure the S2000, the Toyota MR2, the SLK etc all have a list of new owner problems. But, they are still not the TT. So, pick your "lemon" and live with it, but don't be scared off by a little DV issue.

BTW the 1st, 2nd gear issue is not with the 225.

Default Zero problems in 13000 miles with my TTQ, see how long an S2000 lives at 9000 rpm! Lotsa luck!

You have to remember most people complain more than compliment, it's human nature

Default Strongly agree

Many of the little problems I've had I would have let slide or not even noticed if it weren't for this forum (e.g., the seat heater reset, the CD player beeping).

Of course, the starter motor and the leaky aliens I would have noticed without the forum. Hmmm, if you don't want to deal with free warranty service, maybe you should buy a bicycle.

Default Nothing wrong with Ford, I've owned 8 Mustangs, 3 Explorers and not even 1 problem!
