... to operate a motor vehicle. Any ideas/suggestions on what to do, besides getting rid of the TT (NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!) and buying a bicycle?

Thanks,

After you get into your TT, tape a raw egg to the bottom of your right foot.

Good advice from Bill, set the cruise and relax and watch others pass you by, its not so bad.

Set the TT's handy speed warning chime (trip computer)?

Default Occasionally I like to punch my TT like any other red blooded american...

...but I prefer to cruise my baby down the street so people can see me.

Call me conceided, but hell that's just me.

Default Get a good lawyer.

Or, if you got a speeding ticket, appear at the court date and try to get it knocked down to a lesser violation.

Default Obey the speed limits....

My experience suggests you have to work pretty hard to get a speeding ticket. Are you drawing attention to yourself? (Yeah, I know... it's hard not to get attention in a TT)... Seriously, you really can lower your probability of getting snatched by the local constabulary if you don't set yourself apart from the crowd... constant lane changing, tire spinning launches, rat racing with other "enthusiasts," or basically finding a way of your very own to "POP" (**** of the police) are sure ways to start collecting points. How's your attitude when you are stopped? Nice, polite... I suspect you are cool when you're stopped but cops love to adjust attitudes by handing out paper... I seem to get stopped from time to time but manage to get off with a warning... Oh, carry a box of "throw down" Krispi Kremes in your car... hand Smokey one along with your license and you are a sure bet to get off scott free...
