Default Re: Good advice from Bill, set the cruise and relax and watch others pass you by, its not so bad.

I agree. In fact I drove a lot faster more often when I had my old pickup. Now I have nothing to prove and it doesn't bother me to let other cars pass. I KNOW what I have and what I am capable of in my TT.

As an added benifit, with the cruise control on I can just sit back and watch my mpg guage register in the high 20s and 30s and wonder to myself "How many dinosaurs had to die to let that Excursion pass me doing 80+?"

The thing is, most of the tickets have been on "city" streets and not the highway.

Default Outrunning them sometimes works..

I know, I know.. You should not attempt to outrun the chippers but hey if you blow past one at 120 in a 45, what other options do you have? I say lets keep the license and gun it.. Regardless of what happens you are SCREWED. So you might as well make him work for his money b.c you don't get any brownie points for pulling over just a nice set of steel bracelets.. So if you see the opening TAKE IT..
