Default theoretical question...

would increasing displacement alone, leaving all other factors the same, ie same turbo, same software, etc improve performance?

or even the same external hardware, but 2.0 instead of 1.8? with tuning to make sure it's running at least...

what i'm asking is if there are any performance gains in a 2.0 block without going BT.

Default waste of money, the ity bity gain ud get would be offset by so much money that the $ per gain

would be a bit more extereme than most any other mod to hp to $ ratio. course u could do like the vw kids, grab a ABA block, toss in some custom pistons w/ out doing any reworking of the block other than a hone job, toss on ur head and save a bit of money. not sure hwo street legal it would be in the end but who cares bout that stuff........ ahhah i dont!..

Or, consider the APR 2.0T K04 kits. 300hp/323ftlb with your same turbo and new displacement. yuck.

... oops, the A3 runs a 10.3:1 compression ratio so the comparison isn't quite right.
