Default Is there a better than OEM shock/spring setup that...

does not change the ride height at all - I want to upgrade my handling, but do not want any changes that alter the suspension geometry and require spacers and all that nonsense...

Default The springs are actually pretty good...>

Throw a set of Bilstein HD's on there and you'll have a new car. I ran mine this way for quite some time, and it is an excellent combo...Better with the Neuspeed rear 19mm bar...

Default Yup- Amazingly enough (Ha!:>), I totally agree with Schwing:

I ran stock springs and Bilstein HDs for a few
years and they're a great combination. Added the
rear sway bar this year and it's even better. I
think I'm actually done suspension wise, although
there have been people trying to convince me that
H&R coilovers are the bees knees. Could be, but this
is a cheap, easy, and quite capable way to go.
Highly recommended.

...just the rear sway bar? No problem with not getting front as well?

Default Stiffening the rear...>

Will dial out a bunch of understeer and make the car a more pleasurable overall driver..

If you wanna get serious, bump the front up to the 22 (from 20) and the car gets real aggressive......(I've got a whole lot of other things going on, so your mileage may vary...)

this is what I'm running on my roadster, and the S4 guys here say it handles better than their mods.

Default Good combo. Will handle much better.

Especially if your shocks are older than 10k. I eventually decided that it was too soft and upgraded the springs later. Wanted Eibachs, but had to settle for H&R's, as there was some sort of national backorder. The rear sway bar should be a no brainer.

The car is nice and tight now, but a little *oof* stiff when you *oof* hit the bumps. At least now I can swerve to avoid them with confidence!
