source thats a constant 12V and that does not get interrupted by ignition? I wired my PC to one of them but everytime I start the car the PC has to reboot. Any other terminal I can use?

He gets power before any after.
PC's take some juice, so I'd guess that it's not going to get enough power while the starter is cranking, regardless of where it's tapped.
Maybe you could wire in a UPS.

and it's in the wiring bunch which goes through the steering column. I had to tap it for my boost gauge.. you can hook a RELAY to it.. and then use the relay to control the power of another constant source (I needed little power so I wired it directly, however, I would not suggest that).
You have to peel back some of the tape wrapped around the bunch of wires. It's a big bunch.. but it's in there.. just look for it.

However, since the black wire is ALWAYS ON (assuming a charged battery is present) using it to activate a relay seems to be of extremely marginal benefit.
My suggestion is to run a wire straight to the battery. There's a nice terminal block right above the battery that one could tap into.

if he turns the key to the "off" position, the black wire will go dead. It's how I had to wire my autometer electronic boost gauge. Took me a LONG time to find/find out about the wire.
He can simply wire direct to the battery using the relay attached to this wire to switch the power source.
I just don't recommend, as I'm sure electronics guru Bipes would likely agree, to use this black wire for a true power source.

Trust me.. I've searched for hours and hours on multiple days. If you have a bentley or something.. you might be able to find an additional solid black wire.
