Is there NE 1 w/ a similar build date/car that can tell me which SAMCO hose to order?

On the TTstuff site it states the ATC engine is for Quattro.Other codes but not ATC for FWD.
My car is 2000 FWD with ATC engine code build date 07/99...kinda confusing .Don't want to order the wrong one.Or am I just outta luck?

Default All the same - the engine code relates to ECU, not primary characteristics. >

Remember, in '00, the only option was either fwd or 180q.

Default Not quite true

I have an AWP engine and, for example, the
VW A MAF doesn't work in this engine and many of
the vacuum/misc. lines are run differently than
in an ATC engine.

Default Wasn't aware of the vacuum line issue, but why >

would you even assume a VW MAF would work, based on engine code (really though, just further makes my point) - I have the same problem - VW MAF won't work in my AWP, but that's an 'electronic thing' (ECU related - more or less), & not a primary design characteristic, such as 180FWD or 180Q - although you are clearly correct about the vacuum lines - AND there are definitely MORE differences - but even with the VL's, this may be minor, with respect to the Samco Intake - I have a plug in an unused VL, for instance (earlier version of Samco?).

Default I had to reroute some hoses on my car>>>

when i installed my Samco...my 225 is a non-esp car, and the routing is different from ESP cars...not a big deal...just be prepared with the right sizes or prepare to go to the autoparts place lots...hehe....
