Default Is there a way to flush out the oil lines?

Is there a way to get all the gunk out of the lines? I'm not positive that there will be any buildup but I was wondering if they were easy to flush out.

And do we have any sort of catch can on these things?

Default WTH are you talking about?

The only external oil line is to the turbo...
No need to flush anything.

Nothing builds up in that line?

Uh, I need to get behind this engine... this car is nothing like my TR6...

I need a mentor... this is completely sad.

Someone start posting howthingswork.com sites.

Default You are using the recommended oil...

5W-40, which is only available in a synthetic, right? No worries.

Default you'll find that engine technology has come a long way in 30 yrs! :)

pardon me for LOL!

BTW, I've always liked TR6's. They evoke some of the same emotions when I see a clean one that the TT does.

Default 30? Try 60...

MG and Triumph never got much beyond WW2 technology, even in their later cars. I will give them credit for eventually adopting hydraulic shocks, though.

I had a Spitfire for a thankfully short time.

Default Wow, you have angered Master Schwing! lol. You are in the right place.

And have a beautiful car, btw. Read all you want here, more info than you can ever read. Using some good synthetic oil (Mobil 1 0w40 perhaps? will keep things flowing well (as will driving the car hard). This *is* the howTThingswork site.

Default Thanks so much guys!

I'm not afraid to feel like an idiot here!

I'm using the right oil so I should be good, I drive her pretty hard every once in a while but the clutch is being dumb, so i need to get that replaced.

I'm flipped over 40k so I'm going to get some new plugs... any tips guys?
