Default There's no mention in my service schedule of changing the fuel filter

Is it likely I have the original OEM still in place? And if so, is 48K miles time for a change?

TIA

Default Oh okay. I was just wondering if changing mine would improve fuel delivery or quality.

I guess chances are against it helping... Thanks!

Default My tuner recommends changing it every 50k>>>

on a street car..and 10k max on a track car. There is just too much crap in tanks these days.....for the 15$ you will spend, it is worth changing it now..IMO. Never liked the OEM maintenance schedule.

Default They are not lifetime. I changed mine when I was doing the 20k service>>>

and I saw an immediate change in my long term fuel trims. Partial throttle went from -3.1% to -4%.

Default and if you really want to be a purest, you'll add a 10 micron filter as well >>

Default Okay thanks, Hans. I need to get a bit more agressive in diagnosing my stutter/dying issue.

Since it hasn't affected the reliability of the car, I've just been living with it.

But I need to figure out what it could be so I can move on with some other performance mods.

Default Heh, thanks for the tip. What do you think of the pressure gauge from ECS?
