I would probably agree with you if it didn't run for a second or two.
It's definitely getting gas for a little while, but then it dies just as if I turned the key off.

Probably not your MAF, check either fuel supply or electrical, maybe you have a loose battery
cable? If the car just stops dead or stalls, its either fuel, ignition, electrical...even with a bad MAF car will still run...just not well.

What's the problem? Car won't stay running?
Have you swapped ECU's lately? How many miles did you drive on this tank of gas? What does the gauge show? Do you have a gas station you can walk to and get 1 gallon? It will be more than enough to get the car running. BTDT

I've got about 1/4 tank left. I think I've gone about 300 miles on my current tank...
...But a lot of that was highway driving, so I expect to get about 350 out of this tank. I think the closest gas station is a couple of miles away, and I don't have a gas can anyways.
Oh yeah...The ECU has only been unplugged once, and that was over a year ago when Ego installed my Bailey valve...I'm not chipped.

You are out of gas my friend! Get a gallon and fill the car, then
leave the key in the on posistion for about 15 seconds, this primes the fuel pump. Start the car and if it idles without stalling . .. get to a gas station ASAP!
