Default things just aren't going right - car feels like **** >>

got the aligment done after my control arm install. i haven't had a real chance to drive the car until yesterday/today and it feels really clunky over bumps.

i installed new ball joints, strut bushings and got the control arms defcon'd. it feels worse than before.

where's the 1st place i should look?

I'd start with the anti sway bar links

Default What Russ said, but also>>>

you really should check the strut bushing. If it shifted when you were installing it, you could have a metal on metal situation which could sound that way....Recheck when you get a chance..

Default make sure you have your lug bolts on the wheels tight...that's the last thing you want to come

off while driving...and will make a similar clunk noise. seriously.

most likely they are overtightened - the alignment place probably went to town.

Default what about the top of the struts? is the bolt all the way on? if they're loose...they will

make a clunking noise everytime you go over bumps, etc.

Default by the way -- the airbag module is back for repair >>

the guy is going to do some "freezer" testing to see if he can get it to error.
